📌 Location Pinner
Maps activities to a real place by title keyword, so GPS-less workouts (gym classes, home sessions) still get weather and location naming
Pin Indoor Workouts to a Real Place
A lot of activities are tracked without GPS — gym classes, home strength sessions, Pilates — but they always happen at the same spot. Location Pinner matches an activity by a keyword in its title and attaches the real-world place you train at, so the rest of your pipeline can do its job.
How it works
Add a rule for each regular activity (e.g. "Hyrox Class", "Pilates Class"), search for the venue, and select it. When a matching activity has no GPS of its own, the pinned location is used by the Weather and Location Naming enrichers and rolls up into your roundups — without ever drawing a GPS track or map on Strava. Order this booster before Weather and Location Naming. Real GPS tracks (and locations set by Parkrun) are never overwritten.
📍 Anasa Fernwood (used by Weather & Location Naming)
- ✅ Match activities by title keyword (case-insensitive)
- ✅ Search and select real places, multiple rules per booster
- ✅ Feeds Weather + Location Naming for indoor/GPS-less workouts
- ✅ Rolls up into roundup places & weather
- ✅ Never adds a GPS track/map to uploads
- ✅ Never overrides real GPS or an earlier enricher's location
- 🎯 Get weather on indoor gym classes
- 🎯 Name home workouts by where they happen
- 🎯 See your regular training venues in roundups
For each rule, enter a title keyword to match (case-insensitive), then search for and select the real place it happens at.
Apply the pinned location even if the activity already has GPS (off by default so real tracks are never overwritten)
